Dr. Onyia is a University of Benin trained Dental Surgeon, and a Board-certified Oral Medicine Specialist (West African College of Surgeons). A dedicated and efficient clinician with eleven years’ experience, pursuing a research career in oral medicine, pathology, and immunology study domains. He is also keen to be mentored and develop into an outstanding principal investigator and make impactful contributions in the study gaps in immunology and orofacial oncology, autoimmune and infectious diseases, as well as oral aspects of systemic diseases. He is an effective communicator, efficient with public speaking and presentations, possesses as well, brilliant planning, organizational, and leadership abilities. He is a former Dental Officer at University of Uyo Teaching Hospital, was an Intern at Lagos University Teaching Hospital.
