About Dr. Esther Bassey Arikpo

Dr (Mrs) Esther Bassey Arikpo is a native of Betem in Biase Local Government Area of Cross River State. She joined the services of the University of Calabar, Nigeria in 2014 as Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Continuing Education and Development Studies. She was promoted to the rank of lecturer II in 2019. Mrs Arikpo holds a Ph.D degree in Industrial and Labour Studies awarded by the University of Calabar in 2019. She also holds a B.Sc and M.Sc degrees in Continuing Education and Development Studies from the same University. Since joining the University, she has been teaching, researching and contributing to the graduation of undergraduate students in the University. Mrs Arikpo has published over three articles in reputable journals. She has attended many conferences where she made presentations in her area of specialisation. Dr Arikpo is a member of many professional associations including the National Teachers’ Registration Council and Nigeria Council for Adult Education.
