Mr. Benjamin Ogbeche attended the University of Lagos, Akoka – Yaba, Lagos and obtained the degree of BSc Civil Engineering with Second Class Honours (Upper Division) in 1998. He attended and successfully completed the Shell Special Intensive Training Programme (for Graduates - SITP/1) at Warri, specialising in Engineering (a programme conducted by the Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria (SPDC) and The Robert Gordon University (RGU), Aberdeen). In 2003, he was awarded a scholarship by the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) UK Scholarship Scheme for a postgraduate study in the United Kingdom (UK). He, subsequently, attended The Robert Gordon University (RGU), Aberdeen, UK and was awarded the degree of MSc Field and Well Management and the Bob Birse Memorial Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement in 2004 by RGU. He attended Napier University, Edinburgh, UK and was awarded the degree of MSc Construction Project Management in 2008. He has some lecturing experience in the UK – at Edinburgh’s Telford College, Edinburgh (2006/2007) and Edinburgh Napier University (2009). Mr. Ogbeche has a combined construction industry experience of over 10 years, working in variously as Site/Project Engineer, Senior Technical Assistant, and Quality Engineer, and in several projects like building construction/renovation, monorail, quay and slipway construction. He is currently an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, University of Calabar, Calabar, Cross River State, Nigeria.
