Dr. Joseph Kinuabeye Ukwayi

Associate Professor

Dr Joseph Kinuabeye Ukwayi, is an Associate Professor of Criminology and sociology. He gained admission into the University of Uyo and graduated with a second class upper division in Sociology/Anthropology in 1994 and also so did a Diploma in Business Administration (PGDBA) from same institute. Dr Ukwayi stated work as a grate assistant in the department of Sociology, University Of Calabar in 1999 and proceeded to the University of Ibadan for his Masters of Science, M.SC degree in Criminology in 2004-2008. Dr Ukwayi is a criminologist/Sociologist with longstanding teaching and research interests in Criminology, social problems, health, tourism and gender issues. He has published more than sixty (60) articles in onshore and offshore peer reviewed journals. He has held several positions of responsibilities. He is also consulted local and international organization such as NACA, CIRDDOC, UNICAF, IBF, UNDP/World Bank, AIAE and Government Agencies. +2348037279540, jukwayi@unical.edu.ng
