Dr Agba, A. Ogaboh is a University Lecturer, consultant, educational expert, researcher and social analyst. He has wealth of experience in industrial, social and economic development and a special interest in poverty alleviation, development trend, environment and health issues. He possessed good skills in team management and has led several research teams. Dr. Agba was an active member of a research team On Federal Government/World Bank Assisted Project on Science, Technology and Education (STEP-B) in University of Calabar. He has also made significant contribution in the research activity of the same team involved in the University of Calabar Centre of Excellence on Education and Infectious Diseases. He also is a research team member in a study on Baseline and Gender Needs Assessment on Maternal, Child and Newborn Health in Cross River State, Nigeria a study sponsored by United Nation Development Programme (UNDP). He was Education, Health and Social Service Consultant with the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC). Other research and consultant services carried out by Dr Agba include 2010:World Bank Step-B (Activity 2) – Curriculum review on education, infectious diseases and the environment in South-South Nigeria. TETFUND 2011/2012 (MERGED) Intervention in Academics Manuscripts/Books Publication Development Award (Three- in- One Award), Enterprise for Development International (EFDI) Research Grant, for “Assessment of Socio-Economic Needs in the Education and Health Sectors and Women Empowerment and Access to Water in Cross River State”- 2012; UNH4 (UNICEF, WHO, & WORD BANK) Research Grant, for “Baseline and Gender Needs Assessment on Maternal, Child and Newborn Health in Cross River, Akwa Ibom, Imo, Abia, and Eboyi States;” 2014: TETFund Research – Book project on “Essential readings inn social policy and programmes”; 2014: TETFund Research: Book project on “Principles and management of cooperative organisations”; 2014: TETFund Research – Book project on “Sociology of knowledge, science and technology”; TetFund Research Grant 2015-2016. Project Title - (Working Tools and Institutional Performance: A Study of Security Outfits in Niger Delta Region of Nigeria); TetFund Research Grant 2015-2016. Project Title – (Ideo-religious extremism, proliferation of small arms, porous boarder and insecurity in North-East Nigeria). He also at one time Special Adviser (Administration) to the Honorable Minister of State, Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), Abuja. He has good analytical skills in statistical like the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) and has demonstrated that in his consulting services and academic research.
