I studied for my BSC in the Dept. of Microbiology, University of Calabar with a search on the Microbial deodairization of fermented cassava for foofoo production. I then worked on the mutation of green protein (GEP to produce cyan fluorescent protein (CEP)) for my Masters Degree at the Astbury center for structural molecular biology, University of Leeds.
My main fields of research include Understanding the mechanism of cecalcitent compouds biodegradation in soils, metabolic profile and community structure/dynamics of hydrcarbon utilizing bacteria, risk assessment and biocemediation of contaminated Land. A particular area of interest lies in acaleifrant compounds bio-availability in soil.
