Mrs. Glory Eteng Bassey

Mrs Bassey, Glory Eteng is an Assistant lecturer in the Department of Social Work, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Calabar, Calabar. She holds a Masters in Development Sociology and currently running a Ph.D in Rural Sociology and Community Development in University of Uyo.  She joined the service of the University of Calabar in 2013 as a Graduate Assistant and was later upgraded in 2015 to  Assistant Lecturer,since then she has been teaching undergraduate students. She has over 10 publications in both Local and Foreign Journals. She has attended both Foreign and Local conferences and presented series of papers. She is a research person with WHO, GAVI, UNFPA etc. She is currently carrying out a research on Potential Role of Civil Society Organisation engagement for increasing the demand for and uptake of immunization services in Odukpani Local Government Area of Cross River State, Nigeria for World Health Organization (WHO) as a Research Assistant.  She is a member of Nigeria Association of Social Workers (NASOW) International Research and Development Institute (IRDI). gloeteng@unical.edu.ng
