Dr. Iyorza Orjighjigh Stanislaus

Dr Stanislaus Iyorza began his primary education in 1981 in Kusaki Nursery and Primary School, Gboko, Benue State where he obtained a First School Leaving Certificate in 1987. In 1988 he proceeded to Mt St Gabriel Secondary School and graduated in 1993 with a Senior Secondary School Certificate in the Arts. In 1995, he was admitted to Benue State University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree in Mass Communication in 1999. His Area of stress in his first degree was Mass Media Advertising and Public Relations. With a Master of Arts Degree in Theatre Arts in 2005 and a Doctorate Degree in Theatre and Media Studies in 2010, all from the Department of Theatre and Media Studies, University of Calabar, Cross River State, Nigeria. He was employed first and an editor in the Public Relations Department of the University of Calabar where he worked for 6 years before his conversion to the position of an Assistant Lecturer in 2006 then rose to Lecturer II in 2009, then to Lecturer I in 2012. He is currently a Senior Lecturer. His research interest has being in media advertising.
