Dr. Macauley Asim Ittah

Dr Macauley Asim Ittah is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Crop Science, Faculty of Agriculture, Forestry and Wildlife Resources Management. He is from the Big Qua Clan in Calabar Municipality, Cross River State, Nigeria. He is a graduate of University of Calabar, University of Jos and University of Ibadan, his area of specialisation is Crop Genetics and Breeding and research interest is in Ecological Genetics and Crop Breeding. He has published 23 researched articles in learned peer review journals and presented five conference papers. Macauley Asim Ittah has supervised five M. Sc research projects. He is a member of the Genetics Society of Nigeria and currently the Financial Secretary, and was the Business Manager of the Nigerian Journal of Genetics. Dr. Ittah has reviewed scholarly articles for the Global Journal of Agriculture, Asian Journal of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering, Nigerian journal of Genetics and other international journals. He is Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) Study fellowship Award recipient.
