Dr. John Ofem Inyang

Elder Dr. John O. Inyang is currently a member of the cross River State Executive Council and Hon. Commmissioner for lands and Urban Development. Before his appointment in November, 2015, he had been an academic staff of the Department of Philosophy, University of Calabar since 1998 Where he taught several courses to both undergraduate and graduate Students. Between 1998 and 2014, he rose from the rank of a Graduate Assistant to an Associate Professor. His areas of speciality include Logic, Epistemology and Immanuel Kant's Philosophy. He holds a B.A degree in Philosophy 1991, Masters in public Administration in 1997, M.A(Philosophy- Epistemology) in 2004 and a Ph.D(Kant's Ethics/Political Philosophy) in 2007. He has attended academic conferences,presenting scholarly papers,the author has contributed to many book chapters and published about 30 research articles in both reputable local and foreign Journals.
